A simple home organizing trick is to cluster similar items around your home such as stuffed animals, themed knick-knacks, photos in frames and books. This makes it appear that you have collections of collectibles instead of a collection of random clutter spread throughout your home.

Also, when similar items are clustered you know in general where to look for one of the set, which saves you time otherwise spent searching for it. You could spread the knick-knacks throughout a single book shelf. Put the stuffed animals in a single net strung between two corner walls. Put the books in a deep basket.
