♦Use plastic zip lock storage and freezer bags for jigsaw
puzzle storage to hold jigsaw pieces. Or reuse mayonnaise and jelly jars.
Got big jigsaw puzzles? Use bigger containers like empty jumbo butter containers
or coffee cans.
♦You also can
store jigsaw puzzle pieces in plastic food storage containers with lids that
stack on each other (these are quite inexpensive and found in most mega discount
retail stores or supermarkets--as you probably already know since you use them
to store leftovers after dinner now).
♦Put a
label on the outside of the jar or container that names the jigsaw puzzle title.
♦Cluster
the jars holding jigsaw puzzle pieces onto a section of a bookcase or onto a
shelf under a table in the family room.
♦Use a permanent marker to code the back of the individual
jigsaw puzzle pieces (e.g. "1/212 cats" means piece one of 212 pieces of the
puzzle about cats). That way pieces won't ever get mixed in with the wrong
puzzles (at least not for long since you'll quickly see the mistake).
♦Think out of the box too when looking for storage spots for
family jigsaw puzzles. Why not use this
