Are items that should be in your kitchen cabinets overflowing
onto the table and counters due to lack of space? Make sure you're utilizing
that existing kitchen cabinet space to its utmost. Lower existing adjustable shelves in
your kitchen cabinets and pantry so barely any space exists above items. Cluster
similar height items together, such as coffee mugs or cans of vegetables and
soup.
Then if, for instance, you put all coffee mugs on the same
shelf, you can lower the shelf above them to nearly touching. When you're left
with one shelf that has space between the items and cabinet top, purchase a
vinyl coated wire shelf organizer to create an additional shelf in this space.
For instance you could put dinner plates beneath the portable shelf and saucers
on it.
