Laundry Room Organizers

Laundry room
organizers will hold your tools, such as detergent, spot remover, bleach, even
irons and ironing boards. Here are a few ideas for organizing your laundry room
along with some of these ready-made laundry room organizers.

|
|
♦If you have a side-by-side washer and dryer, buy a slim cart
with three
shelves,
on wheels, that fits between these two machines. This
cart can hold detergent, fabric softener, bleach, stain removers and more. Put
your least often used items on the bottom shelf and the cleaners you reach for
frequently on the top shelf of this cart. Periodically wipe the plastic laundry
caddy down with all-purpose spray cleaner and a paper towel (because it will
accumulate dust and lint and typical laundry room grime).
♦Buy a portable clothes/garment rack that
you place in arms-reach of your dryer. Hang your clothes directly after the
dryer cycle ends and you'll have less wrinkles (which means less work ironing,
if at all, later). This
Rolling Garment Rack with shelves - Heavy duty
sold by Stacks and Stacks is perfect. It's on casters so you can slide it closer when
needed and further away when not in use. It has a hanging bar for garments
and even a shoe rack on the bottom that's perfect for drying sneakers. That
middle shelf adjusts too if you need to move it up or down.

♦Don't you hate running out of
hangers when you're in the middle of hanging laundry from the dryer? Search too
long and your clothes get wrinkled, even in a short time span. Solve that by
keeping a few of these
Hanger Organizers
around
your home. Keep one by the dryer or by your
garment rack. Keep one in every clothes closet in your home. Have family members place hangers on
these organizers each time they remove a piece of clothing from a hanger to
wear. When one is full, take it to the laundry room and switch it with an empty
one there. On laundry day, putting away clothes will be quicker when you have
your hangers there ready to go.
♦Have you ever noticed that
irons and iron boards can collect dust if not used frequently. That
problem is easily solved by covering them with
decorative cases. If the cases get dirty, you can clean them in the washing
machine.
