QUICK TIP: ORGANIZE EMERGENCY CHECKLISTS

Be organized before an emergency situation. Create some emergency checklists. 1) Make a list of items you would take with you in case you had to evacuate in a hurry for an emergency such as medicine, phone numbers and pet supplies; 2) Make a list of items you would want to keep on hand for an emergency you can prepare for such as a hurricane; 3) Make a list of each family member's medications and allergies and keep it somewhere where you'd find it if you had to rush that person to the emergency room. Medics will want to know this information (and you'll want them to know it.)
