♦Put big, heavy bags of dog dry food into dog food containers on wheels (with lids) that role into your pantry and set on the floor space there. Stacks and Stacks sells pet food containers and in three sizes:

♦Stores also sell medium to large plastic dog food dispensers that mount on the wall using screws. You empty the bag of food into the top of the container and use the dispenser opening at the bottom of the container (which closes) to fill a pet's food bowl.

♦Cans of cat food usually fit just fine in kitchen cabinets beside your canned goods but in its own section. If you buy in bulk, store most of the cans in a high cabinet or high cabinet spot not frequented.

♦If you've got a microwave cart with cabinet space, that space is often the right size for holding small bags and boxes of cat food. Use sturdy bag clip holders to keep bags sealed.

♦Get a multi-shelf hanging wall planter to hold aquarium foods. You might find a three-tier shelf, for instance, made of metal in a home decor store or one made of wicker in a store that sells baskets.
