If you have a big clothing closet and lots of clothing drawer
space, your off-season clothing storage need only consist of moving those items
to furthest ends of the closet and the bottom of the lower drawers. This leaves
your most accessible space for your everyday wear.
If you do this...
...use
Shoulder Covers
on clothing hanging in the closet.
Otherwise, it will accumulate dust on the shoulders. These are usually vinyl and
slip over the hanger top to cover the shoulder area of your clothing.
...use appropriate
Hangers
to maintain clothing shape
and deter unsightly creases and bumps.
If you don't have room in your existing clothing closet
or drawers for off season clothing storage, consider...
...using another closet
in your home (such as the back of the home office closet).
...under the bed storage.
Use rolling storage bins and
Canvas Underbed Chests .
...using
Canvas Wardrobe
storage.
Essentially, it's a portable enclosed closet.
...top closet shelves. These are normally not easily reached
spaces. Use wire
Shelf Dividers
to
keep stacks of sweaters, for instance, organized and separated from other items.
Or stack sweaters in
Sweater Bags.
But don't store clothes in the attic and garage. These are not good places to store spare
clothing that you plan to wear again. You risk mold, mildew, moths and more.
